Finding the perfect purple color isn't easy. I don't like it when it's too purple, too red, too blue. And purple can look very different on screen than in real life. After trial and error I think this is the closest thing to the perfect purple runner. PROS: The color is great. I would describe it as plum purple. It has a lot of color variations in texture which I like. Some strands look darker than others, giving them good depth. It's perfect for our lobby table. ADVICE. If you're not sure which size to go for, see if you can find runners that are 12 inches longer than your table. This gives 6 inches of even overhang on each side. If you want a more consistent look, order the same size as your table. CONS: People don't joke when they talk about how much it crumples. This is bad! I hand washed it lightly in the sink to remove the fold lines from the packaging. Wow! He folded and twisted every inch. I should have just left the fold lines alone. Luckily I was able to straighten it out again with an iron on low. But the edges refuse to lay flat, so it doesn't look as sharp as I'd like. Overall I'm still happy with them. But I'm deducting a star because it creases easily and doesn't lay flat. Oh, and it glides very easily too.
