Simple, clear and fast adapter
. Not many reviews here. I just wanted to make a small note on the performance of this particular 44-pin SD card adapter. Like many of you, I used it to fix a retro laptop; in this case Dell C640. It was paired with an existing V60 rated SD card from my deck. I get consistently 25 megabytes per second reading and 23 megabytes per second writing with this adapter in a C640 running Windows 98SE (after everything is set up). The last similar article I used on another retro repair showed speeds of 6-8MB per second. I'm ordering a few more this week.
