Bottom line - what I like: 1. Decent macro mode2. It's 12 megapixels, but if you don't need that high resolution or something else to get more photos on your memory card, there are other settings for lower megapixels3. Takes bright, clear pictures4. The flash is great - it doesn't blur like previous cameras I've had5. The touchscreen allows you to press buttons less often to change various settings6. The camera functions are excellent. Good sound. Amazingly clear videos. 7. Slim, lightweight design. You can put it in your pocket if you like.8. When playing videos, the camera actually has speakers to hear it. My old camera didn't, which was annoying.9. You can tap the screen to tell the camera which part of the image to focus on. What I don't like: 1. The touchscreen can be a bit disappointing. If you're used to touch screens of smartphones or iPods, it's not so easy. You must press harder and sometimes more times before your selection is processed.2. Speed. In most settings, the camera takes too long to take another shot. So when you're taking action shots or trying to make a blurry baby picture look sharp, you'll want to snap multiple shots quickly. The only way to do this is to create a multiple image, but then you have to edit them individually. It's just a little annoying.3. The reds don't seem to be COMPLETELY as shiny as they should be.4. flashing function. Doesn't work as it should. Seems pointless to me. 5. Do different colors cost different amounts? It's ok, but I took plum because it was the cheapest. All in all, if I had to buy another camera now, I would most likely choose this one again.
