Review on 🚘 5ft x 1ft VViViD XPO Car Wrap Vinyl Roll with Air Release Technology - Black Carbon Fiber by Braden Douville

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It is great. Now what else can I cover in this product!?

Im impressed. There are a lot of options and I think I managed to get gold on the first try - trust the other 5 star reviews here: it's good stuff. I closed the center console in my 2005 Subaru Legacy - the bezel around the shifter, the ashtray door and the radio/climate control panel. The switch frame and ashtray door were fairly simple; The radio console was frankly nasty: weird compound curves and 19 cutouts. To make this panel I glued the panel and then taped a sheet of tracing paper on top so I could trace all the necessary cut outs. I then made cutouts on carbon paper, glued it to the vinyl and made my cutout there. The key here is the new blade on your Xacto, slow and stable while you drive. This is the most reliable way to finish those intricate details. A blow dryer on low heat helps with application - it gives the film enough flexibility to wrap the edges securely. I am very happy with the result and it turned out to be a high quality product that certainly gave my first attempts a great chance of success. And it just works with him; once installed - the texture, the look of the product - it is extremely convincing. Even without trying other products I can say with confidence that I will keep coming back to this; it is so good. Defects? Nothing is safe. I'm still working on getting my wife to let me decorate the interior of her car. However, she categorically refused to cover the refrigerator, stove and/or dishwasher with it. Not even a coffee maker. Doesn't even move. Maybe TV remotes (I'm starting small). My battery. I wonder if I put a frame around the TV if she will notice? I think I will have to order more.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
