I got this for my wife. She really likes it, but apparently it has the annoying "feature" of always coming on in "hot" mode (red). She then has to manually turn it down to "low" (green) since red is way too hot even for her. It would be much better if the unit could remember what mode it was in last time she got up and it turned off automatically, and go back to that. Having to adjust it down from hot to low every time is annoying. I have tried using the instructions to turn it to "manual" mode, but it still seems to turn back on in "hot" even if it was on "low" when it was adjusted. It's a real shame to get so much right, and then fall down at the last hurdle in terms of making the thing usable. I give four stars because she still likes it when she has to sit at her desk early in the morning. It means she no longer has to use the electric radiator which she has next to her desk, which saves on electric bills, hopefully. Still to be discovered, how long it lasts. Hopefully we'll be lucky, she isn't that heavy so hopefully doesn't put too much stress on the thing. Time will tell.
