There are a few things I love about them: no hairspray required, it doesn't take long and lasts longer than a traditional curling iron. However, they are very uncomfortable when sleeping. That being said, I would recommend the blow dry method outlined in the instructions rather than the sleep method included. I have naturally straight and fine hair. My hair doesn't stay in traditional curls for more than a few hours before falling out, no matter how much hairspray is used. These curlers left on all night held the curls all day before falling off. The wavy ones didn't seem to last as long in my hair and looked just like I had French braided them. I would recommend using some sort of moisturizing spray before applying as without them they seem to dry out my hair a bit. The kit includes two different types of curlers and two hooks that can be lengthened. As a result, I got three lengths to comfortably put on curlers without slipping from above. Once your hair is damp but not soggy, part it into 1 inch sections and pull on the curlers. Make sure the hook is facing up so the hair doesn't slip out and I also recommend combing the part so it doesn't get caught in the hook. Overall I would recommend these curlers especially if you have unruly hair that doesn't like being held in a curl or wave.
