DYES SYNTHETIC HAIR!

This review probably won't help most people when considering this product, but I have to share my success. I watched a few YouTube videos showing how to dye synthetic hair, then bought this dye and a dark red to dye my synthetic blonde auburn or copper hair a darker, less vibrant burgundy. I poured 70 percent isopropyl alcohol into a clear spray bottle and then added some ultra blue ink to the bottle with some of this red to make it magenta. I then sprayed the mixture onto some of my cheaper hair ties to test them out. Brown with tan tones was not very successful. But the light copper "ruffled" curly elastic turned out to be very useful. It's still a bit lighter than my hair, but it will do. The ink makes the hair less shiny but that's a good thing as some synthetic hair is too shiny and my hair is very dry, frizzy and dull anyway. I have an oily hairspray that has enhanced the shine. You can always go darker with this mascara, but never lighten with synthetic hair. Warning: I haven't listened to others saying to use this in a well ventilated area like outdoors. I have a poor sense of smell, probably due to chronic allergies and sinus issues, and the smell didn't really bother me when I was using it. But later it caused terrible migraine-like headaches. I recommend using a mask when spraying if you must use it indoors. I sprayed the color into a very, very large bowl that I use when I color human hair. I bet this thing can mess up a white sink. I rinsed in a stainless steel sink and cleaned immediately afterwards. Some recommend letting your hair dry for a few hours or a day or two before washing and then using some sort of conditioner. It's much simpler and easier than the "Cut" method, which I haven't tried yet. The pictures show the same chewing gum, same brand, same type and same color: one colored and one not. One lady used a mix of black and burnt umber. Ink to make a light silver blonde wig a beautiful brown color. if you need to use it indoors.
