Review on ๐ŸŒ Highly Functional iGPSPORT iGS50E GPS Bike Computer with ANT+ & Waterproof Design - Big Screen & Wireless Connectivity by Fredrick Edwards

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Poor quality control in manufacturing!

When delivered, the screen has a huge bubble right in the middle. It's definitely a quality control issue, shipping something that hasn't been assembled correctly is irresponsible. Really unhappy, i will probably have to pay to send the item back which will make me really unhappy. UPDATE: So the original device wasn't manufactured properly, it happens. But after receiving the replacement unit, I am completely satisfied with the unit (and Revain customer service!). The GPS is accurate (better than my phone which can now be used as a phone again), the Android app is simple and works every time, the iGPSPort website requires some work, but the device is amazing. It picked up all of my sensors, is easy to read in bright sunlight, has a battery life of at least 30 hours, and the output of data from the device to a website is compatible with almost any software. At $90, it outperforms just about every other device over $200, and many of them require your phone to be tethered to receive GPS data and other telemetry data. If you really don't need a state-of-the-art bike computer, then this option is for you. I use the iGS50E output .fit or .gpx file with Garmin VIRB video software to collect data and play video of my rides with all telemetry overlays in the video.

Pros
  • a practical item
Cons
  • a dubious purchase for older people
