The lighting is good for night shots, the setting is 1% which is great for low light at night. The brightness jumps from 1-5% to almost 20%. In addition, it is very bright at 100% and the colors correspond to the high CRI value. Diffuse covers can easily come loose in the light, so I have to use some rubber bands to hold them in place. The battery LED indicators on the back of the flashlight are too bright for nighttime photography under certain conditions where you get a blue glow. I put a 10 step ND gel on the LEDs and they are still causing problems. The battery was dead after just one use. The seller sent a replacement battery.
