Review on πŸ”§ Worx WX240L 4V 3-Speed Cordless Screwdriver: Efficient Power and Versatility by David Silva

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great size for a handy cordless screwdriver.

This cordless screwdriver is not designed to replace a real drill or impact driver, so don't expect it. This works great for me when it comes to housekeeping. Cordless screwdrivers are plentiful, but most are either too bulky or shaped like a gun. This makes them uncomfortable to carry in your pocket. However, this Worx 4V screwdriver is tiny in terms of how much torque it can put out. I also have a Craftsman 4V cordless rotary wrench which I love too. Screwdriver-CMCF604/dp/B07ZK6GYRL sold at a comparable price. Craftsman has more torque and better control when screwing. It also does not transfer torque to your wrist when the screw is tightened. The downside of Craftsman is that the size is slightly larger compared to this Worx screwdriver. This Worx screwdriver has a higher speed but slightly less torque. However, it does not have a speed setting like the Craftsman Gyro Screwdriver. For example, when you are assembling a device, if you tighten a mounting screw and it tightens, it can suddenly apply torque to your wrist. So be aware of that. The advantage of the Craftsman gyroscope is that you can easily mount many screws throughout the day and you will never feel the torque kickback on your wrist. So the real benefit of this Worx is its smaller size and weight, plus USB-C charging. It also has a nice pocket (for everyday use, the screwdriver tends to stay in my work bag rather than my pocket, but still nice). In the end I still prefer my Craftsman cordless screwdriver but everyone has different needs and this is a great cordless screwdriver. In cases where the Craftsman is too bulky or too long, it can usually be used.
