Read about this on the Ram forums as a cure for Hemi Tick on startup. I was initially afraid of using the full amount (21 ounces) so I threw away the small bottle on my last oil change. I drove with a different oil filter on the recommendation of the forum. Advanced filter changed from Mobile to Fram Ultra. Just in case, I've upgraded from Pennzoil Platinum to Ultra Platinum. same viscosity. This triple effect is said to eliminate or significantly reduce ticking. After driving about 250km I noticed a reduction in noise. After traveling about a thousand miles, he disappeared. I can't tell any difference in gas mileage, but that would be a bonus. I will add the entire 21 ounces on my next oil change. Interestingly, the oil pressure dropped 2psi compared to before. The mechanic said not to worry. Now the truck runs quieter and smoother when idling. I just bought 2 liters of Lubeguard which is perfect for 3 oil changes. I'm excited. I'm sending an oil sample to Blackstone for analysis, just to be sure. I'm happy with that. Update: Received oil analysis report from Blackstone Labs of 15 ounce genuine oil. Lubeguard inside. Only 7000 km with oil at the time of replacement. The sample showed lower total dissolved metals (iron, titanium, etc.) compared to the other three analyzes prior to using Lubeguard. I believe that means less wear and tear on critical components. According to the lab, everything looks great and I can easily extend my oil change interval by 20%. Looks like a winner. I added the recommended 21 ounces to this oil change without reservation.
