Review on Kichler 337010WH Fan Light Dimmer - 4-Speed Control (White) by Jerry Estrada

PROLOGUE: I have a four position fan switch that works great in my home. What I don't like about it is that the fan speed slider works in reverse of what you would expect from positions 1 through 4. The speed setting at position 1 should be (intuitively speaking) the lowest fan speed, gradually increasing to the maximum speed at position 4; i.e. from lowest to highest, just like the slider for a light switch. But my switch works in reverse, so position 1 is the highest speed and position 4 is the lowest speed. PROBLEM: I wanted to buy a dual slide motor and light switch that works intuitively from low to high for both sides of the switch. double switch. I bought this switch hoping it would do just that. Vain. It works the same as my original switch. We have other dual light and fan fixtures in the house that use three speed switches. They all work from low to high speed (positions 1-3 on the switch). Why can't they make a four speed derailleur that works the same way? So I sent it back and put the original switch back in.
