Took this part to take to my favorite local and HONEST auto mechanic to have it installed. The local FORD dealership charged over $300 ONLY FOR THIS PART with no excessive labor charges. My wife's 2007 Ford Escape had an intermittent "alarm" problem for YEARS. This part was probably the culprit and since we replaced it it has held up perfectly. No more random beeps from the car! If you encounter this problem, before disabling the alarm, check the dashboard to see which door it says it's "open" for.
