This hat is much better than I expected. it is very thick and warm. The flaps actually adhere to your face and are long so they reach up to your chin. You can turn the flaps in, but I think it's better if you just turn them up. I wasn't a huge fan of the copper badge, but it's easy to take off by unclipping the two tabs on the back and just popping it off. Very warm. My only reservation is the feeling that the visor is cardboard, I probably wouldn't wash it. It would be better if it was a plastic insert but I think for this price it's a minor thing. Great hat!
