Review on 💡 APC Performance Surge Protector with USB Ports and Power Strip - P11U2, 11 Outlet, 2880 Joule Surge Protection by Chris Goldsby

I have a small home studio in my basement. It's pretty modest, but I've put a lot of money into it over the years. I currently have at least $5,000 worth of equipment running I believe. I have a few failsafe devices, namely cascaded power strips, but this surge protector is basically the central power node. My computer and hard drives are directly connected to it. So my basement flooded yesterday. Luckily all my gear was safely off the ground, but I haven't had a chance to wall mount this surge protector yet so it was almost completely submerged in water for about 3 hours. I am currently writing this review on my computer which is not damaged in any way and is running on the original surge protector. Of course I removed the backing and scraped off the corrosion with a wire brush, but the fact that it's still working after the flood impresses me. Not to mention the included USB power ports. Would recommend to anyone who wants to keep their electronics safe.
