This set of tires arrived covered in smelly mold. I sprayed them with peroxide and let them dry which solved the mold problem but it was still awful. The metal screw on top that is used to tighten the tire is very difficult to move and there seems to be some weird sticky residue on the threads. I got blisters trying to tighten a 6 inch tire. The metal at the top of the tire is also covered in blue plastic that cannot be completely removed and looks very ugly. I sometimes like to show my embroidery in the hoop and don't want to see the ugly blue plastic. Aside from those things, I think they're great for embroidery and they're cheap, but I wouldn't recommend this brand to anyone. Making a set of embroidery hoops doesn't have to be that difficult, you need to get them all together.
