I honestly did not like this tablecloth when I first opened it because I thought it looked very different than the advertised pictures, but decided to keep it and see if it would grow on me, and it has. It does repel small splashes of liquid, but it’s thin so of course larger spills will go right through. If you’re purchasing hoping the red color comes through the most I would keep looking because it’s much more orange-y in person. I was also expecting a more "woven” look and it is… not that lol. But still a decent tablecloth overall.
