The scale is not only generally inaccurate, but also from count to count (with a difference of seconds). Compared to calibrated medical scales, they differed by as much as 2.4 pounds and did not exceed 16 pounds. Body fat percentage is also quite inaccurate compared to calipers. I don't have a readily available method for calculating the composition of water, but it varies widely between readings with only a few seconds difference. The scale is practically useless and I will invest in a mechanical scale.
