Review on WD 3TB Blue My Passport Ultra External Hard Drive - USB 3.0 - WDBBKD0030BBL-NESN by Jeff Long

My last WD external hard drive was 500GB for my book and the drive is small enough to fit in my pocket but it holds a huge amount of data. It looks very nice, I like the blue body and so far it works very well. I was able to easily connect it to my Android TV just by plugging it into a USB port. But the main reason I got this drive was to back up my smartphone photos. I was hoping that it would just connect to my smartphone (Note 5) via an OTG cable and I was able to connect it and detect Samsung Note 5 after using Google Play's Total Commander app. I was also able to copy the image and video file directly from my phone. However, when I tried to copy a large amount of data, it didn't work and although it showed up while copying, the data was corrupted. So I had to make a backup via a computer. My computer is running Windows 7 and the HD was recognized immediately. Overall the product is very well made and I hope it will last a very long time. I will update my review if I run into any problems in the future.
