UPDATED: I use these to hang my laptop bag to keep it from sliding off the leather seats. It's just a 13.4 inch laptop (max 4lbs plus case = maybe 7lbs). The hook is supposed to hold 17 pounds but one hook broke yesterday and the other today. Not very good considering I only have to commute to work. to work 2 days a week. ORIGINAL: I had metal hooks that go around the headrest posts, but they rattle when not under load and look ugly. Still not judging on durability but they appear to be very well made, hold a decent weight (I've tried about 10# so far) and blend well with my interior. I'm glad I got the set.
