Case + for protection when you don't need the ultra-slim profile

Tried the Supcase UB Exo first and it wasn't great which got in the way of my enthusiasm for it. Luckily, this one from Supcase is a treat. It looks sharp, it feels tactile, there are no creases in the case to indicate gaps for dust to get between the case and the phone, etc. I bought mine in metallic red because red is my favorite color is and it looks like it will feel good. It's a somewhat bulky case. So if you expect impact protection and something else from a thicker chassis then this is a good choice, but if you value low profile over maximum damage protection then it's not an option. For me, extra protection is a no-brainer and I haven't put my phones in ultra-thin cases in years, but if that's what you're after, just note that this case is thicker. I swear by the Incipio Dual Pro case and they have always served me well, up until my last phone the Note 9 where I used 2 of these Incipio cases because they kept chipping and corners breaking etc. Same goes for my new Note 20 Ultra that I switched and my first impression of this case is that it's as good (or better?) than my old Incipio cases which I never really thought about. I'll update this review later if this case gets worse, but wanted to share my initial thoughts with those who, like me, just got a new Note 20 Ultra and are looking for the best way to protect it.
