I was very happy with this bag. Looks like high quality leather; has the perfect number of pockets; soft but has a bottom that allows the bag to stand; it's not too big, but big enough to make it easy to find something; and looks like a bag that costs 4 times as much. BEFORE. You can see the bottom of the strap. Instead of a strap made entirely of polyurethane "leather”, just the top. The bottom is a cheap canvas fabric that will scratch badly on a bare shoulder and cheapen the look of the bag. The mixed material on the strap was not mentioned in the description. I don't understand why they belittled the look of such a beautiful bag so much. I tried to work around this shortcoming, but this feature made the bag both uncomfortable and unattractive. It seems that over time the material begins to crumble and needs cleaning. The rest of the bag can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, but I have no idea how you would clean the underside of the strap. It was very difficult to return this perfect bag but unfortunately the search for the perfect black bag continues.
