Arrived on time and packed in a large sealed plastic bag so he wasn't all squished. Fur is very soft but not like Sherpa that attracts lint and fuzz. True to size maybe a little bigger. He has plastic eyes and plastic pellets in his butt to help him sit. His limbs are lightly stuffed so they are extra squishy and he's very huggable! He is pictured next to the original toothpick teddy (15") who has been carried around by a toddler for 1 1/2 years so he is well loved. Based on the original he will hold up great. Definitely a great buy and would make a great gift!
