The official HP cartridge for their laser printers is second to none. I have used third party cartridges for my HP LaserJet P2015 and have found them to be fine. However, I happened to evaluate a set of documents that were printed in a bundle and mailed. All elements were smudged, and parts of the letters of the text were chipped and missing. It was probably a merge process that didn't "heal" properly. I switched to HP branded cartridges and was pleased with the first results after shuffling the document in the mail or in a batch of documents.
