. Unfortunately, our cats inexplicably chose this carpet as their second litter box when they realized that their regular litter box didn't meet their needs. We cleaned up the mess by hand with a variety of carpet cleaners; However, the smell never fully came out and accumulated over the years. I tried to convince my husband to just get rid of the carpet but he wouldn't listen. I ended up buying this and spraying it liberally on the carpet as a pre-treatment before doing a deep cleaning and the smells are finally gone! No more smelly man cave!
