I used this adapter to connect my streaming camera to my USB 3 Type A port. The stream camera has a Type-C connector, so you'll need to adapt it for a USB 3 Type-A if your computer doesn't have a Type-C connector. This adapter makes it possible. Now I can use the camera in full resolution 1080P 60fps. The bandwidth is advertised as 10Mbps, so I bought it to process videos at high speeds. One caveat is that you need to make sure you wire it up correctly. One side is high throughput. The other side is USB 2.0 speeds. Plugging it in the wrong way won't damage anything. If you find your connection speed isn't enough, simply flip the USB-C connector and you're good to go.
