Works great, smells terrible. But you should expect it. Just be aware that a little goes sooooo long! You need very little to get the job done. One tip is to apply a very small amount to the strands and then swish it through a lint-free cloth to distribute it evenly over the strands. It doesn't have to be perfect as it will spread when tightened. Also note that this may change the torque limits. I won't even try to do the math here. But a quick research shows that you should reduce the torque value by 25% to 40% (or a little more or less depending on the material, temperature and environmental conditions). So do your research before you drag it out - you don't want to pull the strings!
