Very accurate basic scale that doesn't try to outsmart itself

First, if you're looking for a "coffee scale" you probably don't need this. It's not "useful" enough. It won't time your espresso, tell you when to stop adding water, or give you advice on how to adjust the grind size. If you need this scale, buy a scale advertised as a coffee scale. If you now want to WEIGH SMALL QUANTITIES ACCURATELY, then Toprime Mini is perfect for you. It's sensitive, accurate, and even has an easy-to-use calibration mode that only takes about ten seconds. (You will need to purchase a 500g calibration weight separately.) My scale turned out to be slightly off when it arrived; a 500 g calibration weight is originally said to have a mass of 501.12 grams. Grape tomato that weighed 7.78 grams before sizing was reported as 7.77 grams after sizing. Toprime weighs up to 600 grams pretty much anything you want with a resolution of 0.01 grams. I don't have the ability to compare the full range accuracy to a professional scientific scale but for what I wanted, I don't need it. It also has an intelligent counting mode. You put 25, 50 or 100 of the desired small amount of a homogeneous mass (e.g. glass beads) in the bowl and tell the scale how much you have put in. Then pour in the rest and the scale will tell you how many. There is. It comes with a clear plastic tray that is also the lid. However, the one that came with my scale is warped and doesn't sit flat. This is annoying, but not a big problem. I will however contact Toprime to see if they can get me a replacement FLAT bowl or if I can just look for a sturdier bowl/lid. Long and short, these are great scales for the money and outperform others. "loaded with features" scales at twice the price. It's not perfect, but still deserves two positive reviews. UPDATE: Toprime solved the warped lid/tray issue by sending me a second scale (2kg model). The tray on this one was ALMOST, but not quite, perfectly flat. Perhaps this is a common weakness of all scales using this tray: the molded plastic tray is quite flimsy and seldom seems PERFECTLY flat. However, if you have a flat tray, it will work with all Toprime scales (and in fact they all use the same base platform). Toprime's customer support was quick and responsive and immediately started working on the issue after providing photos clearly showing the problem.
