Used to seal doors on my vertical propane smoker. I could have used a 1/2 inch spacer but this spacer was very easy to cut with kitchen scissors. I've only smoked with it a few times, but the seal and its adhesive seem to be holding up well. So far I have cleaned the areas where I applied it very well and wiped with rubbing alcohol before applying. About 95% of the leaks around the doors have been sealed and the smoker now runs about 15-20 degrees warmer than before the seal was applied (uses less propane) and seems to hold the temperature better. I have more than enough to make a smoker again, it only took me about six or seven feet. Would recommend to anyone who wants to seal their smokehouse doors for a more stable temperature. This product works. I'll update this after a few more uses of the smoker, but so far I'm happy with it. Update: It has withstood dozens of smokers this spring, summer, and fall. Still looks pretty good and sticks well. Looks like it will survive a smoker.
