This is my second bottle and dispenser order. I'm going to use this for vegetable oil to match what I have for my olive oil. The dispensers available prevent the oil from flowing out of an overturned bottle and when pouring the oil does not spill over the rim of the spout. I have found them easy to use with oils as the amount and speed of pouring can be controlled when using a pour dispenser. I like control because I tend to over-oil and end up with greasy food. :(I put the glass bottle in the dishwasher. I prefer to soak the dispenser caps in hot, soapy water for a few minutes to dissolve the dirt and oils. Then I hand wash them and let them air dry, which does mine Believe it helps work better and extends the life of the dispensers Lids are included with the dispensers and are great for keeping oils clean and keeping water, dirt and dust out of the kitchen They have a simple and clean look to keep them don't compete with my decor and I can keep them on the counter for quick access.
