I bought this with the idea of using it as a secret safe for cash and valuables. It's a great concept, having a secret safe that you can put on your bookshelf and no one would notice. The inside is as described, no complaints there. The safe uses a 3 number combination lock so you can choose your own combination to lock the safe. It's easy to change the combination, so there's no hassle. However, my only problem with this is the cover flap of the book. The cover was sort of warped, so the cover doesn't close completely, so if you left it there, you can immediately tell it wasn't a book, defeating the purpose of having this at all. I don't know if this happens often of if I got a defect product. I had to grab some heavy books and stack it on top of the cover and leave it there for days to make the cover flat. Even so, it's still a bit curved and doesn't close completely.
