Smaller than expected but works
The hooks are approximately 2 3/8 inches long and approximately 3mm thick. They look larger and sturdier in the catalog photo but are intended for kitchen utensils dangling from my smaller pot and pan rack. They should work just fine. Extra lists are used with cast iron pans, maybe light ones, but I wouldn't attempt to use these hooks with heavier cast iron pans or pans I thought I ordered. I've added these extra hooks to the heavy duty hooks for the potholder that comes with the potholder, so they will help me.
