I would not recommend this.
I used this yarn to make pom-poms for a Halloween costume for my kids. It was very difficult to work with. The fluff is awful, there were blue fibers floating around my house for days. It does not tie well, because the acrylic fibers are slippery. I have no experience with knitting, but based on the performance of this product in a simple craft project, I would not recommend this.
