Detailed Review: I bought this keyboard case for my new 2017 Microsoft Surface Pro because I thought it would work the same as the one I use for my Macbook Pro keyboard case that I bought from another seller a few years ago. I've had the MBP for a very long time and it has never disconnected from the keyboard in the entire time I've had it. I carry my laptop with me and sometimes accidentally stow it in a bag on my head or on my side. I take the keyboard cover off to clean it and it fits over the keyboard like a glove again. It is the complete opposite of this "premium keyboard cover". I've tried using it without tape, but I fold my laptop when I'm not using it and this keyboard won't stay in place. If you never close your Surface Pro, never sit down with a fan, never stand in a draft, then you might like this keyboard case. Maybe you don't mind rearranging the keyboard cover over and over again. I don't mind that, so I put double-sided tape on the ESC, Delete, Ctrl, and Space keys to hold them in place. It works, but to be honest it's not aesthetically pleasing as I can see the tape through the covers on these buttons. According to the packaging, they recommend removing and washing it with a neutral detergent once a week. I think I'll have to buy more double sided tape if I decide to remove the cover for cleaning. I have a feeling this won't happen once a week. If this keyboard cover needs replacing I would try a different cover from a different brand.
