Can't speak to durability yet but boot construction is good and will probably last all season. Solid material is fairly flexible/soft. Rubber so it doesn't support the ankle when running. I bought a size up to accommodate the height but the lack of ankle support causes my 3 year trip to keep falling off. I saw him running around my backyard, falling a few times, and I was afraid he'd sprain his ankle. It didn't seem to bother him. I decided to keep them for myself so he could wear them if they fit and bought another one with a pattern (in his size) so I could see if the material matched. same.
