Review on Renewed Garmin Edge 1000 Color Touchscreen 🌈 GPS: Enhanced Navigation at a Fraction of the Cost by Larry Willis

After many months of trying to get this unit to work I am finally writing this review. I bought this device to use while cycling in Europe to preload localized routes and to use while cycling to create routes along the way. As this was my first Garmin, for the first few months I only used it to read directions while riding and it worked flawlessly. A month before my trip everything went down the drain here. I started creating maps (in appropriate formats) and made several - literally over 20 - attempts to load/save them to Garmin. I did a "factory reset" which Garmin thought should fix the problem, but it didn't. I thought there might be some internal advice on how to fix this issue. After months of reading/searching the internet I finally picked it up. to 2 local authorized dealers and neither of them could get it to work properly. Also syncing with my PC and Mac only worked a couple of times. The unit is clearly defective despite being sold as certified refurbished. Now I have a useless . Handlebar decoration for my bike for $350.
