A STRONG smell of gasoline or (probably) pesticides that won't wash off in the machine!
I was happy to order this hemp body scrub. Three of the two pieces (the long piece and the bag) smell extremely strongly of oil (perhaps a pesticide). (That's not the smell of wet hemp.) I washed it 3 times but the smell stayed. I also washed my hands with soap and hydrogen peroxide but the smell stayed. Since it doesn't wash off in a machine, I wonder if soaking it could be harmful. No one wants to bathe in a pesticide or oil-soaked hemp body scrub! I heard DeLaine has good products; I hope they check this out! By the way, I got a refund.
