I use UniFi, in a combination of MikroTik + D-Link DGS-1100-26 / ME + UniFi AP-LR (4pcs), forwarded vlan throughout the bundle, configured separate subnets with separate dhcp ranges on Mikrotik, with a limitation of WiFi network clients, by speed, access to network resources (by means of Mikrotik and the unifi software controller (works as a service on a PC)). I experimented with the settings of the points, settled on: the power of the points in auto (in most cases, the access point selects the maximum signal level, or 1-2dbi less), the channel in AUTO (adequately and quickly works in conditions of a loaded air, range 2.4, changes to more free channel), set the width to ht40 (according to personal observations: the range is slightly less, it passes obstacles worse, but as a result, the speed is twice as high as the ht20 setting, when the client is in the zone of reliable WiFi signal reception), RSSI at 70dbi (before setting up, it is necessary to analyze the behavior - movement of clients with a weak signal, at what dbi values, the client still remains at the old point, consider the location of the points on the ground. A few words about the work of seamless client roaming over a wifi network, between points: how is it there is a switch, it happens instantly, it is difficult to notice it when watching a video (pre-buffering affects), surfing the Internet, instagram. One of these days I will test the work of client roaming when using video, audio calls, using Skype, What's up, Viber, ip telephony, etc. I almost forgot: I really liked the mobile application for android, controller controls, viewing statistics, everything is implemented functionally, easy to use. Conclusions: UniFi equipment has a good price-quality ratio, works stably, is easy to use, and allows you to ensure high security of the WiFi segment (with proper, competent settings).
