Let me start by saying that I almost NEVER write reviews but because I have read almost EVERYTHING that has ever been written about these Tirra Tevas women to decide if they are right for me , I really wanted to share my POSITIVE FEEDBACK on these sandals! I'm in my 30's but have severe nerve damage in my left foot. I had my toe amputated in 2007 so I've been trying every summer since ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE find the sandals I've been in would actually walk comfortably, but still look cute! SUPPORTED AND FEMALE Tirra Teva Sandals! 2 adjustable straps on the insole and a third on the top of the foot ensure a truly customized fit. When I read the reviews before buying, one said the sandals were too big and others said they were too narrow. Let me be clear by saying that my mum and I are the same shoe size but I have a very wide foot and my mum has a very narrow foot and these Tevas fit us both like a glove! All it took were a few quick strap adjustments! Others have also complained about the ankle strap "rubbing" but they obviously bought the wrong size because my left foot is so HYPERENSENSITIVE that the slightest irritation can make me go to the roof but these sandals are NOT, no matter how tall I am, I wear them! In fact, this is the first pair of sandals I have with straps that don't hurt my feet at all! And a bad foot that provides lasting comfort and stability not only to my legs but also to my back. If you have any doubts about buying these Tevas like I am, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you take a leap of faith and at least try them! They are SO VERSATILE, they can be worn top or bottom, they run true to size (I usually wear a 9 1/2 wide or 10m and bought a size 10 which fits perfectly) and they look really cute! Teva has come a long way since the "earthy crunchy" men's sandals! It took me 6 years and wasted a lot of money to FINALLY find the PERFECT summer sandals. In my opinion they are worth every penny and more! Whether you're active or have foot problems, I guarantee that once you've worn these sandals, you'll never want to wear another pair!
