It is much cheaper in price and still looks good. The biggest difference: Hobo had full metal zippers and slightly thicker leather, LaGaksta uses soft zippers instead of metal zippers, and the inner pocket is quite small. I would still buy another hobo if they sold it but it's a good replacement. This LaGaksta is very easy to carry, it has enough space for a small wallet, keys, phone, business card holder, some cosmetics in a small pouch and that's it. I use these tiny pockets when I also need to carry a briefcase instead of putting my personal items in the briefcase. This way I can go to lunch with only the bare essentials and leave my briefcase at the office.
