I bought it for me, not for a child. I'm 5'6" and usually wear a size 0 or 24/25 jeans. These youth shorts are a size 26 and fit perfectly. Real FOX shorts on left leg as shown in photo. These are ranger shorts. I am Not happy with the liner as it's ugly and you can see all the lines through the shorts (like the sausage leg) so I might use something else.All in all a big savings over the women's version.
