Waste of money good for power converters

There are only three good things about this. 1) build quality. It's very durable, with thick wires, a reliable cigarette lighter plug, and the device itself is very well built. 2) tone. It's very quiet, the inverter is very quiet and you don't hear it when it's plugged in. 3) charge via usb. Of the various phone chargers I've had, this one was pretty fast, which is nice. But the reason it gets one star is because it's downright terrible in its primary purpose of being a 110-120V AC plug. It's basically useless. When plugged into a running vehicle, any device you plug into the outlet should have low power. Anything else connected to the mains will only work when the vehicle is off, defeating the whole purpose of mobile charging. In terms of content, I work as a mobile device technician and am often away from home, sometimes for hours. Even if I charge all my DeWalt batteries before I go to work, sometimes they need to be charged during the day. And if there is electricity in the building where I work, there is no problem charging all the batteries in my tools. When the customer agrees that my stuff is charged, when I remember to take it with me before leaving, and when I'm not afraid of other sellers accidentally grabbing my batteries. That being said, if I can't use my DeWalt inverter to charge my DeWalt batteries on the way to work and I have to wait to charge them when I get there, charging slowly and risking the battery of yours To discharge cars, I'd rather just plug my batteries into the building to charge them. This completely defeats the purpose of this product. And at this price, there's no point in using it as a phone charger either, as there are other phone chargers that work just as well for less money. I do not recommend.
