Great little dehumidifier

I had trouble buying this little dehumidifier and thought about buying a bigger one but I'm glad I didn't. I live in southwest Missouri in an inn, and even in the winter my economy apartment can get pretty damp. I would say that 15 to 20 days a month if I had it I would pour at least 1/2 glass of water. I know it sounds a little; However, I only run it at night while I sleep and it has greatly improved the humidity level in the room. Here's what I like about it: 1. It's quieter than my desktop and pedestal fans.2. It is very cute, and if you look at him from above, he will smile at you.3. It's inexpensive and it works. My only issue with this is that there is no way to remove the lid from the water tank to clean it. The best I can do is pour some hot water in, add some soap, rinse and rinse. Here are some tips on how to get the most out of it: 1. Don't run it all the time, run it when you need it most. I run mine at night as the humidity really bothers me when I'm trying to sleep, then turn it off and empty the reservoir in the morning.2. Don't put it in a place that attracts a lot of dust and hair. This greatly reduces its effectiveness. I put mine on the floor because I vacuum at least once a week, usually twice a week. I wipe it down every week and use a can of air every two weeks.3. Seems to work best when the temperature is at least 68 F.4. It is not designed for large rooms. If you plan to buy it for a room larger than 250mΒ². Feet, you will be disappointed, so just buy something bigger. It works well enough for me and I'm not disappointed at all. It's cheap for the quality you get and it has improved the humidity in my apartment with high efficiency, allowing me to sleep well at night.
