There are multiple pockets outside but no dividers or inside pockets. I like it because it fits under the seat on airplanes. But since there are no dividers or pockets inside, everything just falls to the floor. The 4 outside pockets are good for water bottles etc., but who carries around 3 water bottles? I don't put anything in those pockets anymore because only one of them has velcro and I use that so I don't lose anything. The two side mesh pockets are large and can safely store something. I don't use open pockets because something can fall out if it's not big enough to stand on its own - like a water bottle or soda etc.
