The Outback name is misleading as it is not designed for off-road use. The first long ride on bad roads and the box has very little play in the holder. Completely unacceptable. Was very happy initially, it snaps right into the brackets and the included hardware made it easy to install. But there is a bee. Fight for weeks after purchase to keep him on his toes. Most likely it will be bolted directly to the mounting plate. Very disappointed. I've had it for a few months now and while I like the size I wouldn't buy it again.
