Bought in mid-July and used immediately: one for pepper, one for cloves and one for Himalayan (pink) salt as indicated on the lid of the box. While other grinders worked fine, adjusting the grinder I had loaded with salt was never easy, it was a rough, tight turn so I chose to avoid it as it hurt my fingers. Unfortunately, salt grinding was also difficult from the start and the end product was uneven. In general, a laborious process. In late October, frustrated with how difficult it was to finely grind salt, I tried adjusting the coarseness again - I had to use pliers because even with rubber gloves on I couldn't get the "dial" to turn. With relatively little pressure, rather than adjusting, the "dial" seemingly froze solid, just came loose completely, clipped through the metal axle, and the whole thing fell apart. I really wanted to like them, but they just aren't good enough for the job - at least not for my favorite Himalayan salt - unless I have a lemon. I don't know how to contact the WonderSky people so maybe they see that.
