Do you teach online and face-to-face students at the same time? Then this is your best option I've found on Revain for teachers who need to move around the room to teach online students and students at desks in your classroom. And it works for our low salaries! If your online students are telling you they can't hear you when you go to the back of the class to help online students, then this is the device you need. This package consists of three main components. 1. A microphone (also known as a lavalier or lapel microphone) that attaches to your shirt near your mouth to record your voice. 2. A transmitter (a small white box with an antenna) that sends your voice to the black box. You attach the white box to your belt or put it in your pocket. This is the kind of wireless system that lets you move around the classroom. 3. A receiver (a small black box with USB) that you plug into your computer so online students can hear you even when you're away from the computer microphone that's going around during lectures. Setting: Press the black button on the white box. Channel. Plug the lavalier microphone into the white box. Put it on your shirt. Then connect the black box transmitter to your computer via the USB port (I was able to do this on Mac and PC). Note: I didn't need to charge it, I just plugged in the USB and started. I suppose you might need to charge it first if it won't turn on. Troubleshooting: I sometimes play video clips for my history class students, so my computer had to use its own speakers but use this new system as a microphone. This means that when setting up a class like mine, you need to go into your computer's audio settings and change the output. In other words, the plug and play feature of this product is designed so that you can control the audio settings, both input and output, after you connect it. everyone, replacing the input tones with my new microphone. So quickly play around with the sound settings to keep the input sound the new microphone and the output sound the computers. This way the video clips will continue to play for everyone. I hope this review helps teachers choose the devices that will help them in our crazy new life in a hybrid world!
