My dog is not used to walking in deep water so he is still uncomfortable at the moment. We will be staying on vacation at the beach in a month so I thought it was fantastic and perfect for my large dogs. The neck piece fits well, but the belly piece barely touches the velcro. I have 2 70lb huskies. They're not known for having very deep breasts, but the adjustable buckle strap that goes around the top of the breast doesn't really reach, even when fully adjusted. But the buckle in the lower abdomen is suitable. But it's sturdy, beautifully made, love the iridescent material on the mermaid tail, very cute! I'm pretty sure this will help my dog in deep water, but if you have a deep chested dog, increase the size. I ordered size XL and it doesn't fully fit my husky's chest.
