I decided to learn embroidery as a hobby - and it looked like a fun DIY project that I could also give my girlfriend for her upcoming birthday. I was very happy with the price and the convenience of the set. The kit contains a lot of threads, a pattern, a frame for the hoop and instructions. You will get more than enough thread for your pattern size. Unfortunately, the quality of the supplied materials was only average. The thread is very easy to unravel, so it's difficult to thread it back onto the needle if you need to repeat the stitches somewhere. The needles are quite blunt, so it was difficult to pierce the fabric with the pattern. I jabbed my fingers several times. And although the instructions indicate what types of stitches to make for each part of the pattern, they don't provide the most detailed step-by-step instructions. I had absolutely no experience with embroidery before I started, so the fuzzy stitch patterns only confuse me more. In fact, the instructions even tell you something about stitches on youtube if you still don't get it - I had to. Overall not bad for the price but I probably wouldn't buy another sample from them.
