Why is this device being advertised as portable acoustics everywhere you look? I just don't get it. In point of fact, these are clock radios that feature Bluetooth as well as a function for a night light, and they are powered by 220 V. In the event that the electricity is cut off, the clock will continue to function properly and the alarm will sound thanks to the battery that has been installed. In the bedroom, I was searching for a device exactly like that one. Purchased, and my initial thoughts are really favorable. Time and date displayed on the screen; this is a really helpful feature. Since I do not make use of an alarm clock, I am unable to provide a rating for it. The radio has an excellent sensitivity setting. The Chinese analog in the adjacent room almost never gets a clear reception from any of the stations it tries to pick up. You can only recall five stations, which is not enough in my opinion, but I do not believe this to be a disadvantage. The off timer is an excellent addition to the features. You can activate the radio and the night light, and then set a timer for a certain amount of time—for example, thirty minutes—after which both the sound and the light will switch off automatically. A huge button located at the top of the device has a time delay and may be used to switch the night light on and off. Just click the button before going to bed with the night light on, and after a few seconds, it will begin to turn off on its own. Bluetooth—amazing it's that this technology even exists! I get a lot of enjoyment out of listening to audiobooks, music, and Internet radio. The sound is incredibly soothing to my ears. Although this is made by JBL, high-fidelity audio is not something you should expect from it. Yet, even at very high volumes, there is almost no discernible distortion in the music, and it is actually rather pleasant and even has bass. The fact that the screen's brightness will automatically adjust itself in response to the surrounding light is, however, a fly in the ointment. When it is dark, the clock is almost completely obscured from a distance of two meters. This feature cannot be disabled, nor can it be altered through the user interface. There is a video available online that demonstrates how the case can be taken apart while maintaining the sensor's ability to emit the same amount of light during the day and at night. It is not anything I did. The price is really exorbitant, and it appears that they cut corners in order to maintain their brand. However, based on my overall impressions, I would still recommend it. The item in question is very good; however, in most cases, it is irreplaceable in a bedroom or in a summer house.
